For your convenience is providing the list of approved candidates for the Studio City Neighborhood Council election. It is vital stakeholders vote (online or in person) in the upcoming  election starting March 17th.

Newly crowned President Lisa Sarkin in what appears to be an effort to subjugate the effectiveness of recently approved on-line voting, has refused to post a direct link to the candidates on the SCNC website. It is rumored that Lisa feels some of the candidate statements are not favorable to her. Lisa as queen bee of Studio City has decided to throw up a road block. The list of candidates is posted on a Los Angeles Government website and Sarkin flat out refuses to post the link. Letters have been written to the City Attorney and other entities to remedy this.

It is imperative that we the stakeholders VOTE for new leadership who will represent ALL of Studio City.  Let us remove the “tireless volunteer” Lisa Sarkin once and for all from her perch.
Please see the dates and information on voting below. Return to often to learn more about the candidates as we get more information.

The list of candidates Sarkin refuses to post can be found at:

When pressed Sarkin replied Our webmaster inputs our eblasts and we do not pay separately for them.  I don’t set up the info, I write the copy only.” suggests since Lisa “write the copy only” she can copy the above link into her “copy” and send out the link in SCNC email blasts. In a previous email Sarkin in the true spirit of a seasoned minimal requirementalist she stonewalls …“The Studio City Neighborhood Council Eblast List has always been and will continue to be used to promote elections outreach.  Elections outreach includes informing stakeholders of the date, timing and method for voting.  Candidates’ promotion is the responsibility of the candidate and the SCNC Eblast List has not been and will not be utilized to promote individual candidates in any manner. However the accomplishments of the current regime is plastered on the front page of the SCNC Website by Sarkin.Perhaps we should move to Valley Village…The Valley Village Neighborhood Council dared to list the names and bios of their candidates on the Valley Village Neighborhood Council website:

Here is another handy link to our Studio City candidates that may be easier to remember:
