On-line Voting has begun.

The voting process is confusing by design. There are a total of 7 candidate categories but we must focus on voting Lisa Sarkin out. 

Sarkin is running in the Employees/Independent Contractors Category. There are five candidates running for the two available seats in this category. You may vote for two candidates and must vote Sarkin and those sympathetic to Sarkin out.

Thank you for making history by registering to vote in the City of Los Angeles’ first online election for Neighborhood Councils.

To vote online (desktop, tablet, smartphone), go to and enter your User name, your pin, and follow the instructions to vote. At the end of the process, you will be asked to review your ballot and you will have the opportunity to amend the ballot. Then click Finish and your ballot will be cast.

To vote using a touch-tone phone, dial (323) 205-7926 for English or (323) 205-7932 for Spanish and enter Username and PIN, then follow the prompts. 

You will then have an opportunity to take a four question survey, giving us your opinion on the priorities for your community and on your experience voting in this election.

For assistance with the online voting experience, you can call (888) 492-4763 or email, which are staffed 24 hours a day.  You will have until 8 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016 to cast your vote.

You also have the option of taking your username and PIN to the Polling Location where you can vote in person.
